Continue your pilgrimage journey this Jubilee Year
As part of our Jubilee Year celebrations, we invite you to embark on a special spiritual journey across our Diocese to visit our eight local sites of pilgrimage.

You are welcome to visit one or them all:
- Sacred Heart Cathedral, Newcastle West
- St Mary Star of the Sea, Newcastle
- St John the Baptist Shrine, Maitland
- St Joseph’s, East Maitland
- St Joseph’s, Murrurundi
- Blessed Virgin Mary Queen of Peace, Scone
- Saints Patrick & Brigid, Cooranbong
- Our Lady of the Rosary, Taree
To make it easy, Mission & Evangelisation has planned a special three-day pilgrimage from Friday 16 to Sunday 18 May. Each site will host pilgrims for Mass, prayer, confession, and warm hospitality. Whether you complete the full itinerary or join for just one stop, everyone is welcome.
“We’re excited to continue our Jubilee journey together,” says Director of Mission & Evangelisation James Camden.
“This is a time of deep spiritual renewal and joyful connection.”
