Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

You are warmly invited to gather with parishioners from across the Diocese of Maitland–Newcastle for the celebration of the Patronal Feast of Our Lady of Perpetual Help.

As the principal patroness of Australia, Our Lady of Perpetual Help has long been a sign of hope, strength, and faithful intercession for the people of this land. In times of joy and struggle alike, generations of Catholics have turned to her with confidence and trust.

Together as a diocesan family, we invite you to come and honour Our Lady, pray for our communities and our nation, and celebrate the unity we share in Christ.

Mass for the Patronal Feast of Our Lady of Perpetual Help
Saturday 27 June – Sacred Heart Cathedral
10:00 am

Morning tea will follow the Mass, providing an opportunity to gather in fellowship and community.

All parishioners, families, ministry groups, schools, and visitors are most welcome to attend.

May Mary, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, continue to guide and protect us, and lead us ever closer to her Son.
We hope to bring together a wide group of parishioners for this feast day.
