The Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle acknowledges the conclusion of the court proceedings relating to a former staff member. It would not be appropriate for the Diocese to comment on the specifics of the matter, and we respect the judicial process and the role of the appropriate authorities. 

We acknowledge the courage of the victim survivor in coming forward and recognise the significant impact matters of this nature can have on individuals, families and the broader All Saints’ College community. The wellbeing and safety of children and vulnerable persons remains our highest priority. 

The Diocese takes all allegations of abuse extremely seriously and maintains robust safeguarding, reporting and response processes across all Diocesan schools and services.
