Last night, our diocesan community gathered for one of the most significant liturgies of the year – the Chrism Mass.

Held during Holy Week, the Chrism Mass brings together clergy and parish communities from across the Diocese to celebrate our shared mission and identity. It is a powerful sign of unity, as priests renew their commitment to serve the people of God, and the Bishop blesses the sacred oils that will be used in parishes throughout the year.

For those in attendance, the liturgy was both reverent and deeply moving. The presence of so many priests gathered together, alongside the wider diocesan community, reflects a Church rooted in service, faithfulness and hope.
