Spark your sense of wonder and join us for Wonders of the Night Sky, a special community evening at the Murrurundi Golf Course on Friday, 9 October 2026, from 6.30pm to 9.00pm.

This free event will explore the beauty of the night sky, including star clusters, planets, the Milky Way, the Southern Cross and the rings of Saturn.

The evening will feature a First Nations speaker sharing wisdom and stories of the night sky, reflections on the relationship between science and faith, and insights inspired by St Francis of Assisi and his love of creation.

Bring a rug, chair or cushion and enjoy an evening of learning, reflection and stargazing. People of all ages are welcome, whether you have a Christian faith, another faith tradition, or none at all.

Drinks and a BBQ dinner will be available for purchase. If weather conditions are unsuitable, presentations will be held inside the golf club.
