Inspired by the Catholic Schools 2026 theme – A Home for All, our Parish and school communities warmly invite everyone to join us on Saturday 30th May at St Mary Immaculate Church, Charlestown for a Prayer Vigil centred on Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.

As we gather before Jesus, who reminds us “I am the way, the truth and the life” (John 14:6), we come to the One who is our true home. In the presence of the Blessed Sacrament, we hold in prayer all those who are homeless, displaced, or lost… those searching for safety, belonging, hope, or direction. We also remember that Christ longs to dwell within us, calling us to be a people who make room for others in our hearts, our schools, and our parish communities.

Volunteers are invited to sit with the Blessed Sacrament in Adoration throughout the evening. A light supper will be available in the hall from 6:30–10:00pm. All are welcome to our Church… a community that opens its doors wide and reflects the love of Christ, a home for all.

  • Gather for Eucharistic Procession at 4:30pm
  • Join us for Mass at 5pm
  • Stay for Adoration from 6-10pm
