Join us for the next Called to Know More gathering as we hear stories from our Port Chaplain, Mark Spencer, about the lives of seafarers and the Church’s ministry among them.

Before we celebrate Sea Sunday on 12 July, come to listen, learn, and reflect.

More than 90% of the goods we rely on arrive by sea, carried by men and women who spend months away from home, often facing isolation and harsh conditions. Stella Maris (Mission to Seafarers) provides spiritual, pastoral, and practical support to seafarers worldwide.

You are invited on a guided bus tour of Port Waratah, Port of Newcastle, and the Mission to Seafarers- Stella Maris Centre at Wickham.

Boarding Point: Diocesan Resource Centre at 11:15 am for an 11:30 am departure.
