The Listen to the Heart: Moving Forward Team invites you to join us in listening to and asking questions of Fr Darryl and Aunty Wanda as we continue the journey to deepen our knowledge and understanding of the deep spirituality of First Nations Peoples, connection to Country, and relationship with our Faith.

Fr Darryl Mackie is a proud Wiradjuri man. He is currently the Parish Priest of the Lakeside Pastoral Region.

Aunty Wanda Smith is a Ngurabul Elder, and a Gomeroi and Torres Strait Islander woman. She is the Aboriginal Education Worker for St James Primary School, Muswellbrook, and St Joseph’s Catholic College, Aberdeen.

Both Fr Darryl and Aunty Wanda are members of the Diocesan Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Catholic Ministry.

Morning Tea will be provided, BYO Lunch.
