Members

Greg Skinner - Chair
Greg worked in engineering and management roles with Audgrid for over 38 years. Most recently he worked as an Electrical Engineer with Leading Edge Data Centres, with a team of technology specialists embarking on an Australian first, to deliver much-needed connectively and IT services to all Australian regions. His qualifications include Bachelor of Engineering (Hons), Master of Business Administration, Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning. Greg has been an advisory board member of the CatholicCare Social Service Advisory Board since it formed in 2015 and a member of the Diocesan Advisory Board and Diocesan Finance Council. He has a passion for social services and supporting those who are vulnerable within our community.

Anne Carroll
Anne Carroll is an experienced non-executive director and clinical governance specialist with over 40 years across aged care, health and not-for-profit sectors. She is currently on a number of Boards including Catholic Healthcare Limited, Centacare New England North-West and Family Drug Support. She is also an external Committee member of Newcastle Anglican Aged Care Committee. Her background combines senior clinical leadership with consultancy expertise in governance and quality systems. Anne is recognised for her analytical approach, collaborative leadership and commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable communities grounded in Catholic social principles.

Patrick OReilly
Patrick O’Reilly is an experienced leader in Catholic education and social services, with over 35 years’ experience across primary, secondary, tertiary and vocational sectors. He served as Foundation Principal of Southern Cross Catholic Vocational College and held senior roles at CatholicCare Sydney and Marist180. Patrick brings deep expertise in governance, strategy and mission-focused leadership, underpinned by qualifications in education policy, theology, economics and company directorship. He has a strong commitment to parish life and community engagement.

Sr Catherine Norman
Sr Catherine Norman brings a diverse background across teaching, health service management and parish leadership, with experience in liturgy, sacramental coordination, pastoral ministry, education and community services. Her qualifications include a Master of Education, Social Science degrees and diplomas in Multiculturalism, Education, Business Management and Pastoral Ministry. She has served on several not-for-profit organisation and Diocesan boards, demonstrating strengths in governance, strategic planning, community engagement and a strong commitment to social justice and Catholic mission.

Statutes and Protocols are ad experimentum during the first year, and may be updated from time to time during that year. The role of the relevant Council or Board will be to, at the end of the first year, consider the drafts and participate in updates to make the process fit for purpose.
