White Balloon Day - committing to child protection
Across the country on 12 September, schools, workplaces and other organisations will be taking part in White Balloon Day.
White Balloon Day is a national campaign to raise awareness of and advocate for protection of all Australian children.
To mark the day as a diocese, we will be displaying a commitment banner and white balloons along the Hunter Street side of the Hamilton Campus. Morning teas will also be held to show our ongoing support for child protection.
Schools across the diocese will create their own commitment banner, which will be displayed in their parish church to remind each of us that we are responsible for protecting the children in our lives.
