Grandparents Day at St Benedict's, Edgeworth
On Wednesday 7 November the annual Grandparents Day was held at St Benedict’s Primary School, Edgeworth.
The children took part in a liturgy, presented some funny skits, sang some lovely songs about grandparents and performed a well received dance routine. The school choir sang two songs to the delight of the capacity crowd.
After the presentation the children invited their grandparents to their classrooms to show them their work and present them with a gift they had made.
It was a wonderful acknowledgement of the special gift grandparents are in the life of their grandchildren.
