The Liturgy is organised by the LGBTIQ Catholic Forum, a gathering of LGBTIQ Catholics, their families, friends, and supporters within the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle.

The Forum promotes the dignity of each person and supports them in their development to be the person God calls them to be.
