Week 9 (12 October 2015)
The new steel roof trusses and timber rafters are now in position.
The arrival of the slate and timber roofing battens are in place readiness for the roofers to commence early next week.
The proposed eastern gable end has required additional strengthening and is now in readiness for the stud wall and cedar cladding.
The steel work for the strengthening of the Bell Tower is in place and awaiting the steel rods to be chemically anchored into the sandstone walls.
The Bell Tower scaffolding will be completed and certified mid next week.
Towards the end of next week a 90 tonne crane will be onsite to remove the four pinnacles from the tower so that they can be further inspected.
