Week 8 (5 October 2015)
All of the new steel roof trusses are in position and are currently being tied together by the underpurlins. One third of the underpurlins and rafters are in place, awaiting the arrival of the tile battens and slate.
The formation of the restored cathedral roof is starting to take form and should be completed just in time for the arrival of the slate.
Removal of the existing concrete sill along the northern and southern sides has been finished completed.
Steel work for the strengthening of the Bell Tower has arrived and will be carried out next week.
The commencement of the Bell Tower scaffolding will continue this week.
